Workshop chazzan Danny Maseng 2011
On 10 May 2011, chazzan Danny Maseng gave a three hour workshop for the shelichay tzibbur who graduated in 2009. This was part of the continuing Professional Development program of our Institute.The complete workshop can be listened to in the two-part MP3-recording below. That may later be broken up into parts according to the separate compositions, each with its own introduction and music.
Some of the music can be heard on Masengs latest double CD Heaven on Earth. Even without the CD, it is worthwhile to read his commentary on the 27 prayers recorded on it, since they are all well-known from the Friday evening and Shabbat morning services. See http://music.tioh.org/commentary.html
