The Levisson Institute derives an important part of its finances from subsidies from the Levi Lassen Foundation, the Collective Maror-funds, a few smaller foundations, the Dutch Union for Progressive Judaism, the Rotterdam and Amsterdam Liberal Jewish Congregations, and for our research program the Prince Bernhard Cultural Fund.
The most important financial support comes, however, from the Friends of the Robert A. Levisson Foundation. We need to expand this circle of Friends to 150 in order to provide a more secure financial basis. An advantage is that we are a recognized Charitable organisation and therefore all donations can be deducted from the income taxes.
By holding at least one yearly meeting with a scholarly lecture, a newsletter and an Annual Report with information from the yearly accountant's report the Friends and the foundations supporting us are kept up-to-date on the work of the Institute.
The easiest way to support us is to use the donate button on the home page.
If you would like to support us by joining the Friends, please click here and write us a note in the form on that page and we will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
You can of course also send us a donation by regular bank transfer. For the details of our bank account, please click here. Please use the form on that page to send us a note telling us you have made the donation.
